With the growing popularity of renewable energy comes the growing demand for energy storage that can satisfy both economic and customer needs. This, Windlife believes, is the ‘next Holy Grail’ in innovation towards renewable energy.

Windlife invests in novel batteries and new storage technologies to address this crucial issue. High cost will remain the main challenge for some time. To be economically feasible, utilities companies will have to provide grid-level energy storage at less than US$ 100 per kWh. Currently, we don’t even come close. However, we aim to get there and introduce the most efficient, reliable and profitable means of storing energy to meet grid demands.

Windlife is researching several successful clean energy storage technologies and seeking funding for this. We team up with other players in the chain of development, manufacturing, operating, investment and regulation, to make our energy storage projects bankable.
